This piece seamlessly blends natural form with artistic spirit. Carved from a single piece of Australian black nephrite jade, the sculpture captures a noble black horse ascending the ridgeline of an untouched jade mountain. The raw stone is preserved in its original texture, while the horse, meticulously polished, emerges with fluidity and vigor — symbolizing freedom, resilience, and the unbridled energy of exploration.
The title, "Jade Peak and Galloping Grace", poetically unites the majesty of the mountain form (玉峰) with the dynamic rhythm of the steed (骏韵), celebrating the union of nature and artistry.
This artwork also reflects the spirit of Australian jade itself — a bold newcomer to the Chinese jade world. Just like the horse pushing forward into new lands, Australian jade is charging into the art scene with strength, elegance, and untamed potential.
