Between stone and stillness, a forested path to the Buddha

A single piece of Australian nephrite jade gives rise to a majestic spiritual landscape — “Buddha Realm in the Forested Mountains.”

Carved with reverence, the towering peak rises like a guardian of serenity. Gnarled pines cling to its craggy surface, their winding trunks whispering with the breath of Chan (Zen). Nestled deep within a grotto, a seated Buddha gazes gently outward — his robes flowing like ripples of compassion and clarity across the stone.

At the mountain's base, a lone seeker bows in quiet devotion. Amid the layers of green jade and the undulating grain of the stone, the viewer finds a mirror to their own spiritual search — a journey through solitude, humility, and the boundless wisdom of nature.

This is more than a sculpture. It is a dialogue between jade and artisan, mountain and mind, viewer and void. In the stillness of “Linshan Fojing,” one may enter a realm beyond form — where transcendence grows in silence and light dwells within stone.
